About the Role
A leading manufacturing company in Port Elizabeth is seeking 2 experienced Electrical Technicians to join their PE Factory team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance and fault-finding on production equipment
- PLC programming and diagnostics
- Minimise downtime and improve plant efficiency
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Electrical qualification / Trade Test essential
- Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley programming
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as an Electrical Technician within a manufacturing or production plant environment
- Manufacturing or production plant experience
- Strong PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
