Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper / Bookkeeper to join our team and assist with a variety of client accounts. The successful candidate should be organised, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. Full training will be provided. Salary ranges from R8 000 R14 000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
Requirements
Essential:
- Matric certificate
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fluent in English
- Well-presented with good communication skills
Advantageous:
- Experience working on Pastel Partner
- Completed a Bookkeeping course
- Currently studying towards a degree or diploma
- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Reliable transport
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Bookkeeping for various companies, including capturing, debtors, creditors, bank statements, and reconciliations
- Payroll administration, including processing payslips, completing and filing EMP201 and UIF returns monthly, as well as EMP501 reconciliations
- Maintaining spreadsheets and related administrative records
- Completing various forms for SARS, Department of Labour, and other entities
- Assisting with any additional duties as required
