About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Newton Park warehouse facility, responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate logistics processes in a fast-paced automotive spares environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse activities, including inbound shipments, inventory placement, and outbound order fulfillment.
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews to foster a productive work environment.
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits.
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations (OHSA) and ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement process improvements to increase throughput.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.
Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background and a valid drivers license – checks will be done on shortlisted applicants.
- 3–5 years in warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
