About the Role
Beyond Talent Acquisition (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and self-sufficient Stores Manager to establish, implement, and manage a fully functional stores and inventory control operation from the ground up. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and be accountable for building a best-in-class stores function aligned to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a complete store and inventory management system from scratch.
- Establish stock control procedures, binning systems, and material coding structures.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all stores activities.
- Define minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder points, and critical spares strategies.
- Oversee all receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure accurate stock recording and real-time inventory visibility.
- Lead stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Manage supplier deliveries, discrepancies, and returns.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management preferred.
- 812+ years of experience in stores or warehouse management.
