About the Role

Beyond Talent Acquisition (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and self-sufficient Stores Manager to establish, implement, and manage a fully functional stores and inventory control operation from the ground up. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and be accountable for building a best-in-class stores function aligned to operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a complete store and inventory management system from scratch.
  • Establish stock control procedures, binning systems, and material coding structures.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all stores activities.
  • Define minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder points, and critical spares strategies.
  • Oversee all receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch activities.
  • Ensure accurate stock recording and real-time inventory visibility.
  • Lead stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
  • Manage supplier deliveries, discrepancies, and returns.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management preferred.
  • 812+ years of experience in stores or warehouse management.
