About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Wheel Alignment & Suspension Technician to join our team in Pretoria East, Gauteng. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles leave our facility safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Wheel fitment and balancing
- Wheel alignments and suspension adjustments
- Suspension fitment, repairs, and component replacements
- Inspection and fault finding on suspension components
- Test driving vehicles where required
- Working accurately and efficiently to workshop standards
- Maintaining workshop equipment, tools, and cleanliness
- Assisting workshop operations where required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years wheel alignment and suspension experience
- Strong suspension, wheel fitment, and balancing knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Understanding of lifted suspension geometry (advantageous)
- Experience with 4×4 and aftermarket suspension systems (advantageous)
- Experience on Toyota platforms (advantageous)
- Mechanical qualification (advantageous)
- Valid drivers licence essential
- Basic workshop computer literacy required
- Experience using alignment machine software (advantageous)
