About the Role

Join our dynamic business sales team as a Commercial Sales Consultant – Insurance, where you’ll use your commercial underwriting knowledge to craft competitive solutions that drive growth and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue commercial quotes, amendments, and new business policies.
  • Negotiate rates and premiums with brokers.
  • Validate client loss ratios and credit history.
  • Ensure adherence to underwriting criteria and maintain efficient turnaround times.
  • Build long-term relationships with brokers and internal teams.
  • Achieve individual and departmental sales targets in a competitive environment.

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) essential
  • FETC in Short Term Insurance (NQF 4) required
  • Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance (NQF 5) advantageous
  • RE 1 and Class of Business certification beneficial
  • Minimum 2 years experience in commercial short-term insurance sales and underwriting
