About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our team in Pretoria East. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced test and measurement equipment, as well as providing technical support to clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced test and measurement equipment
  • Support automation and integration of systems within various technical environments
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control system faults
  • Assist with system upgrades, configuration, and performance optimisation
  • Provide technical support to clients and ensure high levels of service delivery
  • Work with automated systems, instrumentation, and monitoring equipment
  • Conduct site work, including system implementation and fault-finding

Requirements

  • Trade Test as a Millwright (essential)
  • National Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and automated production equipment
  • Experience working on high-speed production lines and complex machinery
  • Exposure to instrumentation, control systems, and fault-finding in a production environment
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required
