Job Description

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • HR certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ HR administrative experience
  • Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Knowledge of South African labour legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Responsibilities:
HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Assist with filing and management of HR documentation
  • Prepare employment contracts, letters, and HR correspondence
  • Ensure employee files are accurate and up to date
  • Assist with leave administration and attendance records

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist with posting job adverts on recruitment platforms
  • Screen CVs and schedule interviews
  • Conduct reference checks where required
  • Coordinate onboarding documentation and induction processes
  • Prepare new employee packs and contracts

Employee Support

  • Respond to employee HR-related queries
  • Assist with disciplinary and grievance administration
  • Support employee wellness and engagement initiatives
  • Assist with organising training and HR events

Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Assist with payroll input and timesheet administration
  • Support HR compliance and labour legislation processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Assist with EE, WSP, and HR reporting where applicable
