About the Role
RPO Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Draughtsperson / Designer to join their client’s growing team in Pretoria. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a young professional to develop both technical draughting and design skills within a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D where applicable)
- Assist engineers with basic civil design work, including roads, stormwater, and related infrastructure
- Prepare layouts, detail drawings, and as-built drawings according to project requirements
- Interpret engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications
- Assist with revisions and updates to drawings as projects evolve
- Provide general technical support to the engineering team
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering Draughting or related field
- 02 years experience in a civil engineering draughting environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience will be advantageous)
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles (roads, earthworks, stormwater)
