About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and disciplined Security Operations Manager to join our team at HR-Simplified Ltd, a trusted and dynamic private security company delivering intelligent, reliable, and technology-driven protection for people, property, and infrastructure across South Africa. The ideal candidate will be proactive, innovative, and capable of leading multiple sites efficiently while maintaining compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations across multiple security sites.
- Manage deployment, supervision, discipline, and performance of security personnel.
- Conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and site inspections.
- Develop, implement, and review operational plans, SOPs, and incident reports.
- Ensure full compliance with PSIRA, Firearms Control Act, and Labour Legislation.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, grievances, and CCMA cases in line with company and legal requirements.
- Drive the integration of technology — including CCTV monitoring, digital patrol systems, GPS fleet tracking, and electronic reporting platforms.
- Identify and implement new technological innovations to enhance security operations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high service delivery standards.
- Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee uniforms, vehicles, and operational equipment accountability.
- Prepare operational budgets, reports, and inputs for tenders or proposals when required.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior security management or supervisory role
- Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
- PSIRA Grade A – valid and in good standing
- Firearm Competency (All Three Categories): Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle
- Valid Firearm Training Certificates (Business Purpose)
