Qualified Vehicle Technician
Job Summary
The Qualified Motor Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. Requires strong technical expertise, fault-finding ability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle services and maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Repair and replace faulty components
- Conduct engine, gearbox, suspension repairs
- Complete job cards accurately
- Maintain high standards of workmanship
- Assist apprentices and junior mechanics
- Stay updated with modern vehicle technology
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Motor Mechanic with valid Red Seal Trade Test certificate, 3-5 years post-trade experience, strong diagnostic skills, valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
Engine overhauls, electronic systems knowledge, dealership or aftermarket workshop experience.
