About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Events Consultant to join our team in Randburg, responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the event industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Quoting and closing sales
- Following up on customer queries
- Plan daily, weekly and monthly activities
- Prospecting for new clients and generating new business
- Develop and execute growth strategies focused on revenue generation and customer satisfaction
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and quotations
- Achievement of set objectives and goals
- Conduct market research to identify new markets, customer needs and industry trends for strategic decision-making
- Effective time management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing key customers (e.g. event management companies)
- Where necessary, accompany the installation team to installations and assist with placement
- Complete all sales administration/ reporting accurately and timeously
Requirements
- Grade 12 (mandatory)
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Horticulture or a related field
- Computer literate
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficient in English, read and write
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport
