Job Description

KEY OUTPUTS: Administrating of Senior Consultants files Administration and provisional maintenance Attention to detail on file details like dietaries and loading of movements and reconfirmations of files. Ensuring lead times for responses are met according to standard operating practices A good understanding of specific requirements for Groups itineraries including general groups policies Handling of individual bookings from quote to finalising, including invoicing and travel documents Payments and payment collections COMMUNICATION AND VALUES: Constant, consistent and clear communication daily with reservations team and suppliers Upholding the values of &Beyond Care of the people, Care of land and Care of the wildlife KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Good understanding of delivering excellent service to agents/guests Excellent written and verbal English Some understanding of a reservations environment is advantageous Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Basic Level Outlook, Word and Excel SKILLS REQUIRED: Communication skills and an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written) Attention to detail Time & desk management including working in an orderly focused manner The ability to work under pressure and show initiative Understanding of travel industry and preferably Tour Operating specifically Elaborating in writing explanations or descriptions Exceptionally customer focused Negotiation skills Must be computer literate and have an in-depth knowledge of Word and Excel Calm and professional manner of servicing agents/guests An independent, curious and “can do it” nature QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Tourism/Travel-Related Qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) preferable PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: An independent, curious and “can do it” nature Sense of urgency and adherence to deadlines Passionate about guest delight Diligence and self-motivation Be able to Travel from time to time We reserve the right to not make an appointment.
