About the Role
Our client, BO-SMART, is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the CEO across a demanding and fast-moving international business. This high-trust role requires someone who is organised, emotionally intelligent, discreet and genuinely enjoys helping a founder operate at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s diary across the UK, Europe, South Africa and other international commitments
- Coordinate meetings, travel plans, accommodation, transfers, itineraries and last-minute changes
- Field and prioritise emails, WhatsApp messages and calls, including occasional out-of-hours triage where appropriate
- Draft replies, organise follow-ups and ensure important actions do not get lost
- Support personal administration as required, including bookings, scheduling and day-to-day logistics
- Prepare briefing notes, agendas and background information ahead of meetings and events
- Track tasks and projects, chase actions and keep momentum across multiple workstreams
- Liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, partners, suppliers and internal team members
- Maintain absolute discretion with sensitive personal, commercial and strategic information
Requirements
- Based in Cape Town or able to work there regularly
- A South African candidate would be advantageous given the Group’s growth ambitions in the market
- Experienced in supporting a founder, CEO or senior executive in a fast-paced business
- Highly organised with strong judgement and the confidence to prioritise independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished and professional manner
- Calm under pressure, adaptable and comfortable with changing plans
- Warm, personable and grounded, with a good sense of humour and strong emotional intelligence
