About the Role
Join our team as a Field Guide / Host in South Africa, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your passion for guiding and hospitality with guests from around the world. As a key member of our staff, you’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and providing expert guidance on local flora and fauna.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours and activities for guests
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests
- Prepare meals and snacks for group excursions
- Manage staff schedules and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, guiding, or guest services is an advantage
- FGASA Level 1 or similar Guiding course qualification (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills in English and Afrikaans ( fluency required)
Qualifications
- Formal education or certification in a relevant field
Salary & Benefits
- R12,000 overtime pay per month
- Paid public holidays throughout the year
- Live-in accommodation for guides in our staff house
