Field Guide Private Wildlife Reserve Location: Kalahari, South Africa Salary: Negotiable depending on experience | Live-in position Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Field Guide for a prestigious private wildlife reserve situated in the breathtaking Kalahari region. This role is ideal for an experienced guide who is passionate about the natural world and delivering unforgettable safari experiences. We are looking for dynamic and driven individuals who are eager to grow in the industry and bring energy, knowledge, and charisma to the guiding team. Requirements: FGASA Level 2 qualification (minimum) Lead Trails Guide qualification 58 years experience in the field guiding industry Valid PDP and First Aid certification DEAT registered Rifle competency certification Strong track record of guiding experience in Big 5 reserves A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest experience Must have an outstanding and engaging personality Professional; well-groomed, and confident in guest interactions Ability to work well in a team and contribute positively to lodge culture Key Responsibilities: Lead informative and immersive game drives and bush walks for guests Provide educational and entertaining commentary about flora, fauna, and ecosystems Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests during activities Maintain vehicles and equipment to a high standard Assist with conservation initiatives and wildlife monitoring where needed Contribute to creating memorable guest experiences at every touchpoint Package & Benefits: Live-in position with accommodation provided All meals included while on duty Market-related salary (negotiable based on experience and qualifications) Opportunity to work in one of South Africas most unique and pristine wilderness areas If you are a passionate Field Guide ready to take your career to the next level and be part of a remarkable team in the Kalahari, apply now by sending your CV to Kendrick Recruitment.
