About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Manager to join a prestigious luxury lodge situated within a Big 5 reserve. The ideal candidate is a true Food Fundi passionate about food, people, and service, with the ability to think outside the box and deliver unforgettable guest experiences in a luxury lodge setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and elevate the lodge’s food & beverage offering with creativity and precision
- Develop menus aligned with guest expectations and latest culinary trends
- Manage stock control for both food and beverage
- Drive staff motivation, training, and service excellence standards
- Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
- Lead guest interaction with passion, energy, and a focus on delight
Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality or Lodge Management
- 35 years experience in a 5-star boutique lodge or Big 5 reserve environment
- Professional culinary background advantageous
- Proven menu development and purchasing experience
- Solid knowledge of food & beverage stock control
- Experience in hospitality and service training
- Strong administrative skills and natural leadership qualities

Salary & Benefits
- R30,000 – R33,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
- Live-in accommodation provided
