About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of our construction industry team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and visitors on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance on-site

• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations

• Ensure compliance with OHSA regulations and company safety policies

• Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and reports

• Facilitate toolbox talks and health & safety training sessions

• Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions

• Promote a safe and compliant working environment

Requirements

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification

• SAMTRAC or equivalent certification advantageous

• Previous experience as a Safety Officer within construction or related industries

• Strong knowledge of OHSA and health & safety legislation

• Excellent communication, reporting, and administrative skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment

• Must be immediately available
