- Proven experience as a Fuel Trader or in a similar trading/commercial role within the oil & gas sector
- Stable career history with demonstrated success in previous roles
- Existing client base or strong, active industry network (non-negotiable)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Solid understanding of fuel pricing, supply chain, and market dynamics in South Africa
- Ability to work independently and drive revenue growth
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen
- Results-driven and target-oriented
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Key Responsibilities;
- Buy and sell petroleum products (diesel, petrol, paraffin, etc.) in line with market trends
- Leverage existing client relationships to generate consistent trading volumes
- Source new business opportunities and expand market share
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements
- Manage end-to-end trading processes, including logistics coordination and delivery timelines
- Monitor market movements, pricing structures, and competitor activity
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
