Location: Distribution Centre
Rate: R30.52 p/h
Key Responsibilities
Receiving (Packed Cartons)
- Load and offload full cartons as instructed
- Ensure cartons are loaded according to order and size specifications
- Adhere to packing standards at all times
- Move pallets to designated locations as required
- Maintain high levels of accuracy
- Keep work areas clean and organised
Distribution Lines (Picking Support)
- Prepare empty cartons for picking lines
- Ensure picking lines remain operational until completion
- Cut, staple, and seal cartons according to specifications
- Check cartons for damage before leaving the picking line
- Handle equipment according to required standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Despatch (Sealed and Allocated Cartons)
- Verify carton ID labels against SCS labels for accuracy
- Seal cartons according to required standards
- Move cartons between locations as instructed
- Maintain clean and safe working areas
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Grade 10 preferred
Experience:
- No prior experience required
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Service-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work long hours without loss of effectiveness
- Good eyesight to accurately read SKUs
- Physically fit and able to lift cartons up to 25kg
