A boutique wellness lodge is seeking a HEAD CHEF / SENIOR WELLNESS COUPLE for their property This role is positioned at a luxury safari and wellness lodge in the Greater Kruger area, combining fine dining leadership with holistic guest care. It requires a couple to jointly manage culinary excellence and wellness services, ensuring guests experience both worldclass cuisine and rejuvenating treatments in a fivestar wilderness setting. Core Criteria: Formal culinary qualification (Head Chef) and accredited wellness/therapy certification (Senior Therapist) Prior experience in luxury hospitality or lodge environment Proven track record in 5Star establishments Valid drivers license and reliable transport Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a couple Professional presentation and guestfocused attitude Flexibility to adapt to dynamic lodge operations No pets permitted; preferably nonsmokers Willingness to live onsite in shared accommodation Candidate Responsibilities: Head Chef: Lead and manage all kitchen operations with a focus on excellence Develop seasonal menus showcasing creativity and guest appeal Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and cost control Train and mentor junior kitchen staff Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and lodge standards Collaborate with management to deliver exceptional dining experiences Senior Wellness: Provide a range of professional spa and wellness treatments (massages, facials, holistic therapies) Deliver personalized guest care with attention to detail and discretion Manage spa scheduling, treatment areas, and product inventory Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols Promote wellness services and contribute to overall guest satisfaction Support training and development of junior therapists Maintain uptodate knowledge of wellness trends and techniques Salary: Chef R18kpm + Therapist R14.5k
