About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our luxury safari lodge team in Kruger National Park. As a senior HR leadership role, you will be responsible for driving strategic human resources management, staff development, and organisational culture within our unique live-in environment. You will focus on training, compliance, performance management, and employee wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning & Development: Deliver and enhance the Lodge Training & Development Programme
- Collaborate with external training providers and facilitators
- Conduct skills gap analyses and contribute to long-term training strategy
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor annual training programmes within budget
- Develop internal learning resources and knowledge-sharing systems
- Coordinate in-person, online, and outsourced training initiatives
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Skills Development, or related field
Minimum 5 years HR management experience, ideally in hospitality or lodge operations
Strong knowledge of HR legislation and employee relations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Strategic mindset with strong focus on staff development and performance management
Ability to work in a remote luxury lodge environment
