About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Lead to lead and drive audit quality across the Internal Audit Division at Communicate Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with audit standards, standardizing and aligning audit processes, and supporting senior stakeholders on audit quality and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review internal audit work, reports, and methodologies to ensure compliance with audit standards
- Standardise and align audit processes across teams and business units
- Play a key role in ERP related audit programs and readiness initiatives
- Support and coach audit leaders, including experienced, long-tenured team members
- Apply continuous improvement and forward-thinking audit practices
- Assist with internal audit engagements where required
- Ensure the organisation is assessment-ready for audit evaluations
- Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders on audit quality and compliance matters
- Maintain a strong office presence to support team training and collaboration
- Travel regularly to operational sites to support audit activities
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years Internal Audit experience
- Proven experience leading and managing internal audit projects
- Manufacturing industry experience essential due to high revenue exposure
- Strong technical audit knowledge with a passion for standards and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Solutions driven, pragmatic and detail obsessed approach
- High energy, resilient and adaptable leadership style
- Comfortable working fully in office and travelling regularly
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) – advantageous
