About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and tech-inquisitive Junior IT Technician Intern to join our Brackenfell-based IT refurbishment company. This paid internship provides a hands-on opportunity to develop essential technical skills in hardware assembly, repair, and refurbishment, guided by experienced professionals. The role is perfect for individuals aiming to launch a career in IT, offering real-world experience in IT operations, equipment handling, and sustainable technology practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the disassembly, inspection, and testing of used IT hardware
- Perform basic repairs, upgrades, and cleaning of computers and peripherals
- Follow established refurbishment workflows to prepare devices for resale or redistribution
- Document repair activities and maintain accurate inventory records
- Support team members with logistics, packaging, and quality assurance checks
- Comply with safety protocols and environmental standards across all tasks
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions
- Genuine interest in IT, technology, and sustainable tech initiatives
- Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from the Brackenfell office
- High school diploma or equivalent; IT-related coursework or certifications are advantageous
- Located in or willing to commute to Brackenfell

Salary & Benefits
The internship is paid, with a certificate upon completion of the 6-month internship duration and a reference & recommendation letter upon completing the internship.
