About the Role
We are partnering with an Ultra-Luxury Safari Camp in Masai Mara to recruit a highly skilled Lodge Operations Manager. An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly experienced hospitality professional to take on a standalone leadership role at a safari camp in a remote wilderness setting. This position requires a dynamic, hands-on leader responsible for the full operational, financial, and guest experience performance of the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all departments, including Guest Experience, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Administration
- Act as the on-site custodian of the asset, ensuring world-class service delivery, strong commercial results, and seamless day-to-day operations
- Balance high-level strategic oversight with operational execution
- Carry full accountability for financial performance (P&L and GOP), revenue optimisation, team leadership, and maintaining exceptional service standards
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in luxury hospitality
- At least 3 years in a senior management role (Camp Manager, Lodge Manager, Hotel Manager, or similar)
- Proven experience with full P&L responsibility and delivering GOP targets
- Previous safari lodge or remote property experience strongly preferred
