About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MICE Manager to join our team at a Big 5 Game Lodge in Pilanesberg, North West. As the face of our luxury events, you will be responsible for delivering seamless and high-end events that meet our exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all MICE events at the lodge
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and ensure expectations are met
  • Coordinate with all departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, front office)
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Manage event budgets, quotations, and invoicing
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Handle on-site event management and troubleshooting
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and external suppliers
  • Prepare reports and post-event evaluations

Requirements

  • RSA ID and legal residence essential
  • Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Events Management, or similar
  • Proven experience in a MICE or Events Management role within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong planning, organisational, and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and client liaison abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Financial awareness including budgeting and cost control
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management systems
