About the Role
Corecruitment is seeking an experienced Regional Chef Trainer to elevate culinary standards across its East Africa lodges. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a crucial role in menu development, chef training, food styling, and maintaining world-class hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Revise and enhance 7-day menus, special dietary menus, and bush banqueting experiences
- Train chefs on food presentation, menu costing, kitchen controls, and waste management
- Develop new recipes and guest delight concepts aligned with food strategies
- Rotate through lodges to improve food quality, styling, and service standards
- Support local procurement initiatives and supplier development
- Lead workshops, chef exchange programs, and skills development initiatives
- Collaborate with lodge managers, procurement, training teams, and consultants
- Monitor guest feedback and ensure continuous F&B improvement
Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant culinary experience
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skills
- Passion for food innovation and service excellence
- High integrity, initiative, and organizational ability
