About the Role
Join our elite engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer on a true greenfield, real-time pricing platform in a high-performance financial environment. You’ll have real end-to-end ownership, direct access to business and quant-driven stakeholders, and the opportunity to build what others only trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing high-performance distributed systems at scale
- Building real-time, data-intensive services
- Translating complex pricing & financial logic into production-grade code
- Driving engineering excellence across backend and platform layers
- Working directly with business experts and quant-driven stakeholders
- Leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate delivery
Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience
- Strong background in real-time / event-driven systems
- Proficiency in Go, C++ or Rust / JAVA
- Strong systems design & architecture capability
- Deep understanding of performance, concurrency & scalability
- Cloud experience (AWS)
- Comfortable working in high-impact, ambiguous environments

Salary & Benefits
- Cost to company salary of up to R1.6m per annum, highly negotiable based on experience and ability.
