About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our boutique hotel in Stellenbosch, with a strong background in hospitality and management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing budgets, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Full operational management of the hotel
- Driving occupancy, revenue, and yield strategies
- Managing budgets, costs, and financial performance (P&L)
- Overseeing reservations, sales, and agent relationships
- Maintaining exceptional guest service standards
- Leading, motivating, and developing the team
- Managing food & beverage performance, including menu costing
- Overseeing maintenance, property upkeep, and projects
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and operational standards
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in either Management or Hospitality (Highly Beneficial)
- A minimum of 3 years General Management/or 5 years senior management experience in a similar position/establishment, Essential
- International experience highly beneficial
- Sales experience-Highly Beneficial
- Good financial acumen (English)
Salary & Benefits
R 40-45 000 pm Gross (Depending on Experience)
