Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure while maintaining smooth front-of-house operations and supporting the overall guest experience.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Welcome and host guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and daily lodge administration
- Coordinate guest activities, transfers, and special requests
- Maintain excellent communication between departments to ensure seamless operations
- Assist with hosting meals, guest briefings, and general guest interaction throughout the stay
- Ensure guest areas are always clean, organised, and presentation-ready
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and calmly
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and basic reporting where required
- Support lodge management with daily operational duties
- Uphold the camp’s high standards of hospitality and guest service at all times
Core Criteria:
- Previous experience in hospitality or luxury lodge environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for guest service and creating exceptional experiences
- Professional appearance and friendly personality
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a team
- Computer literacy and confidence using reservation systems and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Flexible and adaptable with a hands-on approach
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to live and work in a remote bush environment
This is a live-in position.
Accommodation and food included.
6 weeks on/2 weeks off work cycle.
