About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, confident, and customer-focused Sales Assistant / Retail Sales Consultant to join our retail team for a company situated in Upington. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in-store with product selection and purchasing decisions
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Maintain product knowledge to effectively advise customers
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Process sales transactions accurately at point of sale (POS)
- Maintain store presentation, merchandising, and stock levels
- Assist with stock receiving, replenishment, and inventory control
- Support promotional activities and in-store campaigns
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- A certificate or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field will be advantageous
