About the Role
Bonafide Human Capital is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our automotive dealer client in Milnerton. As a qualified technician with a Motor Mechanic related Trade Qualification, you will be responsible for controlling resources to meet profit requirements and enhance customer relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements
- Maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customers
- Supervise staff, manage performance, discipline, and other staff management related functions
- Ensure Service Department achieves budget objectives through daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls, and composite figures
- Ensure efficient operation of the Service Department through efficient labour utilization, productivity, and sales
- Ensure excellence in customer service
- Maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure for the Service Department is in line with budgeted labour sales
- Effectively communicate with OE and drive their various standards
Requirements
- Qualified technician (Motor Mechanic related Trade Qualification)
- Relevant experience in a similar role or industry
