Victoria West: INTERNAL SALES – TELESALES REPRESENTATIVE

About the Role

As a TeleSales Representative in our Victoria West department, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through outbound calls to potential clients, building strong relationships with existing customers, and achieving monthly sales targets. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in value-based selling, objection handling, and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate outbound calls to potential department clients to introduce our products and services.
• Identify customer needs and provide product information and solutions.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients through regular follow-up calls.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches to persuade potential clients to purchase our products or services.
• Maintain sales discipline with consistent outreach and follow-up cadence to meet and exceed targets.
• Prioritise high-potential accounts and respond effectively to time-sensitive promotions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product and service offerings of allocated department.
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential clients.
• Accurately process orders and sales transactions, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Work closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Offer substitution where applicable and facilitate redelivery for any products where no stocks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and other departments to resolve any issues effectively.

Requirements

• 34 years proven FMCG telesales experience in a target-driven role within the Food, Beverage, Hotel, Foodservice industry.
• Proficiency in Hindi and/or French (friendly, confident, and professional tone, use of appropriate pace and energy).

Qualifications

• Secondary Education/Matric with strong numeracy skills.
