About the Role
The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities within FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services in the Free State region. This role is critical to ensuring that client product availability and representation are consistently maintained across retail and wholesale outlets, while driving operational excellence and supporting business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure sales and merchandising standards are met
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, efficiency, and high standards across synergised service operations
- Manage customer and stakeholder relationships to drive sales and merchandising success
- Lead and develop large distributed teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification
- 2 years of experience in operations within the retail and wholesale sector
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification: National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification (if applicable)
