About the Role

The Winding Engine Driver is a critical role in our operations, requiring a skilled and experienced individual to drive winding engines on AC and DC machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive winding engines on AC and DC machines as required
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance
• Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives

Requirements

• Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) or National Cert level 4 Certificate in Education, Training and Development Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR
• Proof that the certificate is still valid and the individual has driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED
• At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines or proof of Competence for newly qualified WED

Qualifications

Formal education/certifications required for this role include a Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) or National Cert level 4 Certificate in Education, Training and Development Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR.
