About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Winding Engine Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating winding engines on AC and DC machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate winding engines on AC and DC machines
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance and maintenance
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) / National Cert level 4 Certificate in Education, Training and Development Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR
- Proof of valid Onsetter’s Certificate
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines or proof of Competence for newly qualified WED
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification: Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) / National Cert level 4 Certificate in Education, Training and Development Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR
