Are you ready to take charge of large-scale renewable energy projects in one of Africa’s most dynamic markets? A forward-thinking, international engineering firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major solar PV infrastructure project based in Uganda.
Minimum Requirements:
-
BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
-
Registration with a recognized professional engineering body.
-
5+ years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
-
3+ years specifically in the construction and implementation of photovoltaic (PV) projects.
-
Experience with CSP and Molten Salt storage projects is a strong advantage.
-
Strong understanding of construction technical documentation, process control systems, and data-related installations.
-
Familiarity with European technical standards and renewable energy regulations is beneficial.
Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and Revit.

Exposure to PV design and simulation tools like PVSyst, PVSol, PVCase, and SAM is advantageous.

Working knowledge of FIDIC contract standards, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Aconex software is desirable.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
