About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer and specification requirements, while also driving customer concerns and internal PPMs through the 8D process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure products supplied meet customer and specification requirements
  • Actively manage APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flows
  • Develop, review, and implement procedures and inspection instructions
  • Drive customer concerns and internal PPMs through the 8D process
  • Issue, track, and close Corrective Action Requests (CARs)
  • Manage containment actions internally and with third parties
  • Perform SPC monitoring and data analysis
  • Conduct 1st-off inspections in production areas
  • Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reporting
  • Monitor and track KPIs, targets, and objectives
  • Support new product launches
  • Perform part measurement capability trials
  • Liaise with R&D laboratories for testing and out-of-spec resolution

Requirements

  • Relevant technical qualification in Quality, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing quality
  • Strong knowledge of OEM Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA)
  • Understanding of customer-specific requirements
  • Lean manufacturing exposure
  • Advanced Microsoft Office capability
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
