About the Role

Riseup Management is seeking a highly skilled Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a key member of our paid media team, you will be responsible for managing and optimising paid media campaigns across Google Ads and social media platforms to drive leads and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Paid Media Manager: Collaborate with the senior paid media manager to ensure timely campaign launches, continuous monitoring, and comprehensive reporting upon completion.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed.
  • Develop, Implement, and Optimise Paid Media Campaigns: Create, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads and social media platforms to generate leads, and conversions. This includes initial planning, creative briefing, implementation, and ongoing optimisation.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value search terms.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage budgets across campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maximising performance and ROI.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyse campaign data, generate regular reports, and provide actionable insights on KPIs such as CPA, CPL and overall ROI. This includes monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Conduct A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and targeting strategies to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with content, design, and regional marketing teams to align PPC efforts with broader marketing goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in paid media campaign management, preferably in an agency setting or a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with Paid Media Platforms: Strong knowledge of Google Ads and social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret campaign data to make data-driven decisions, with a decent grasp of Microsoft Excel.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly present ideas, strategies, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bilingual: Professional proficiency in both English & Arabic.
  • B2B Experience: A basic understanding of Salesforce and general B2B marketing concepts like MCL & MQL.
  • Certification: Google Ads certification is preferred but not mandatory.
