About the Role
Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure efficient project execution, while also ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure efficient execution of projects;
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and budget;
- Ensure resource availability and allocation;
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress;
- Report and escalate to management as needed;
- Regular feedback to the operations and/or branch manager;
- Manage the relationship with client and all stakeholders involved;
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
- Ensure adherence to the agreement between the client and the company;
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- PSIRA registered;
- Tertiary qualification or diploma in the field of engineering for technical project managers would be advantageous;
- Proven work experience as a project manager in the technology and electronic security sector is essential;
- Sound knowledge and understanding of CCTV, Cathexis systems and access control;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven track record in the electronic security industry;
- Driver’s license and own vehicle;
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
