About the Role

Bidvest Protea Coin is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure efficient project execution, while also ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure efficient execution of projects;
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and budget;
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation;
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress;
  • Report and escalate to management as needed;
  • Regular feedback to the operations and/or branch manager;
  • Manage the relationship with client and all stakeholders involved;
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
  • Ensure adherence to the agreement between the client and the company;

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
  • PSIRA registered;
  • Tertiary qualification or diploma in the field of engineering for technical project managers would be advantageous;
  • Proven work experience as a project manager in the technology and electronic security sector is essential;
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of CCTV, Cathexis systems and access control;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven track record in the electronic security industry;
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle;
  • Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
