About the Role
Our client is seeking an Artisan – Millwright to join their team in a vacant position. As an Artisan – Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our institute’s machinery and equipment. This is a unique opportunity for someone with experience in the feed industry to take on a challenging role that requires technical expertise and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Manpower/Human Resources Management
- Responsible for Assets Management and Maintenance
- Responsible to follow Preventative Maintenance plan
- Responsible for Health and Safety
- Responsible for Ad Hoc tasks as assigned by management or board
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Specific knowledge of business operations
- An ability to work well under pressure
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Creative thinking, to be able to come up with ideas
- Problem solving skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Qualifications
- Matric Qualification/Grade 12 or equivalent
- Maintenance Qualification – Millwright
