About the Role
Isilumko Staffing is seeking a reliable and professional Switchboard Operator to join our team on a 4-month fixed-term contract. As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering and directing incoming calls in a professional manner
- Taking messages and forwarding them to the appropriate person
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct department
- Providing basic information to callers and visitors
- Performing general administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Computer literate
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Previous experience as a switchboard operator or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
