About the Role
Surge Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a medium-sized civil contractor based in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects and ensuring accurate cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies for clients
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential cost savings
- Prepare and submit tender bids and contract variations
Requirements
- Minimally carry a B-Tech in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- At least 10 years experience in roads and earthwork / national roads projects
- Proficient in CCS
- Willing to work anywhere in South Africa
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification in Quantity Surveying
