About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager – Housekeeping to join our team in Hoedspruit. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving departmental excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and service delivery.
- Implement and maintain effective budget and stock control systems.
- Ensure seamless room division and front-of-house operations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee development.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance departmental activities and guest experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 -3 years Housekeeping Management experience in a 5 star boutique operation or Big 5 reserve with in a similar lodge environment;
- Budget & Stock Control Experience;
- Room Division or Front of House Experience (a plus);
- Hospitality and Service training experience (a plus);
