About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager for a luxury lodge based in Hoedspruit. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury lodge or boutique hotel operations, food and beverage management, and guest experience delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all food and beverage operations within the lodge
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences with a focus on personalised service
  • Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to maintain five-star standards
  • Manage stock control for both food and beverage departments
  • Oversee menu development in collaboration with culinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Manage purchasing and supplier relationships
  • Monitor costs, budgets, and operational efficiencies
  • Stay updated with industry trends to enhance guest offerings
  • Support hospitality and service training across the lodge

Requirements

  • Diploma in Hospitality or Lodge Management (or similar qualification)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a 5-star boutique hotel or Big Five reserve/lodge environment
  • Strong food and beverage management experience
  • Experience in menu development and stock control (food and beverage)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience in purchasing and supplier management
  • Solid knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in hospitality

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R30,000 – R33,000 depending on experience
