About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our team in Cape Town City Centre on a 12-month contract. As a key member of our testing team, you will be responsible for developing test cases to verify the functionality of our digital platform based on systems and business functional requirements. You will also provide input into automated test scripts and work towards automation testing. Key Responsibilities
- Develops test plan, approach and scope
- Provides test estimates for project & incidents
- Establishes and implements approach for managing test data
- Guides a team of automation test analysts in the Digital environment
- Liaises with contracted test service supplier(s) to ensure effective prioritization, planning and delivery of test results and reporting
- Carries out quality assurance procedures to ensure that all digital tools and services meet and/or exceed the minimum organization standards and end-user requirements
- Provides input into and collaborates with performance testing, device testing, penetration testing and user acceptance testing to ensure standards and requirements are met
Requirements
- 5 years relevant testing experience (encompassing the skills and knowledge listed below)
- Testing certification (ISTQB – Test Analyst, Automation Test Analyst or similar) will be an advantage
- Experience in software testing including methodologies (agile, functional and non-functional), test planning, test case development, execution, and quality assessment of test cases
- Experience with using the following tools: Jira, Bamboo, IntelliJ – Java, Appium, Postman, Bitbucket, Allure, XCUITEST, Maven, TestNG, Selenium, SQL and database query tools
- Extensive experience developing test cases and test scenarios from story cards/use cases and/or requirements specifications
