About the Role

Lead the engineering of secondary systems for high-voltage substations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and grid operator requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, specify, and review protection, control, automation, and SCADA systems
  • Translate functional and client requirements into detailed engineering designs and documentation
  • Develop and review protection philosophies, control schematics, and system architectures
  • Provide technical guidance and quality assurance within project teams
  • Coordinate with primary engineering, construction, commissioning, and client stakeholders
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of secondary systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in secondary engineering for high-voltage substations
  • Strong experience in protection, control, automation, and SCADA systems
  • Proven ability to convert functional requirements into detailed engineering designs
  • Experience with EPLAN and/or L-CAD

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and grid operator requirements
