About the Role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing key client relationships, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for our mining industry clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and leverage your expertise in account management, sales, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth from existing key accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying and addressing their needs
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales decisions
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify business opportunities and develop joint proposals
- Manage CRM systems and reporting tools to track sales performance and client interactions
- Develop and present business proposals and reports to senior management and clients
Requirements
- Grade 12 Degree in Business Management, Sales, or Marketing
- Additional qualifications such as PMD or MAP certificate (advantageous)
- 35 years experience in Account Management, Sales, or a related role
- Solid understanding of the mining industry and technical sales
- Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools
- Strong negotiation and presentation capabilities
