About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our fast-growing company in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will assist with the operation of the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of products. In the absence of the Manager, the Assistant Manager will take on their responsibilities, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the operation of the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of products.
  • Lock and unlock the Warehouse as required.
  • Supervise overtime shifts during the week and on weekends when necessary.
  • Provide support to the Marketing team with events coordination and planning.
  • Participate in events as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control.
  • Ability to manage stock ordering, receiving, and distribution processes accurately.
  • Proven ability to supervise and lead a team, including managing overtime and staff discipline.
  • Experience overseeing stock takes and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy.
  • Strong administrative skills, including handling stock transfers and system updates.

Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Basic fleet management knowledge is advantageous
