About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our fast-growing company in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will assist with the operation of the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, stocking, processing, and distribution of products. They will also take on responsibilities when the Manager is out of the office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Locking and unlocking the Warehouse
- Supervising overtime shifts during the week and weekends as required
- Assisting with events and supporting the Marketing team with events coordination and planning
- Managing stock ordering, receiving, and distribution processes accurately
- Leading a team, including managing overtime and staff discipline
- Conducting stock takes and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy
- Handling stock transfers and system updates
- Developing and implementing processes, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinating export processes and logistics
- Resolving out-of-stock (OOS) issues with courier/logistics partners
