About the Role

As an experienced ICT Project Manager in our Head Office in Sandton, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple ICT projects from initiation through to implementation and support. You will develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate project teams, and ensure alignment to project deliverables and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver multiple ICT projects from initiation through to implementation and support
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and contingency planning
  • Coordinate project teams, assign responsibilities, and ensure alignment to project deliverables and business priorities
  • Lead project governance processes, status reporting, stakeholder communication, and escalation management
  • Manage project execution to ensure delivery within approved timelines, scope, and budget parameters
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and successful outcomes
  • Facilitate strategic analysis and provide recommendations on technology initiatives and process improvements
  • Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and coordinate vendor and supplier engagements
  • Ensure compliance with organisational ICT standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across business units, executive leadership, vendors, and service providers
  • Negotiate and manage SLAs and OLAs with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee Problem Management processes and act as escalation point for critical ICT issues
  • Monitor project financials and ensure budget management within approved expenditure margins
  • Ensure project overruns and scope changes are appropriately documented, approved, and managed

Requirements

  • ICT Diploma or related qualification
  • Project Management qualification required
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (ITIL v3)
  • Valid drivers license
  • 35 years experience in a senior supervisory or management capacity
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Systems Administration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Service Desk Supervision or Customer Service Management
  • Minimum 1 year exposure to Business Analysis
  • Minimum 1 year exposure to Project Administration

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, or Information Technology (PREFERRED)
